Job Details

Drive day-to-day manufacturing operations to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Lead production planning and cross-functional coordination while leveraging SAP, MAPS, and MES to monitor, report, and continuously improve performance in line with Australian WHS requirements.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
• Lead production planning, scheduling, and team coordination across multiple departments.
• Utilize SAP, MAPS, and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platforms for monitoring, reporting, and optimizing production performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, material traceability, and workflow integration within digital production systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to meet output targets.
• Implement process improvement strategies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain full compliance with Australian Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies.
• Manage cost control, manpower utilization, and resource planning effectively.

• Team leadership across shifts; coaching, skills matrices, succession planning
• Stakeholder management with Engineering, QC, Maintenance, Supply Chain
• Conflict resolution, performance management, change leadership
• Cost control & budgeting; labour/overtime optimization
• Inventory accuracy, cycle counts, WIP control
• Continuous improvement pipeline ownership and benefits tracking
• Material traceability & batch genealogy
• Risk tools: FMEA, control plans; NCR/CAPA management
• WHS (Australia): SWMS, JSA, incident investigation, safety auditing
• Production planning & finite scheduling (MRP, capacity planning, S&OP alignment)
